There are countless series that deserve praise for their compelling plot and exceptional acting but we can’t cover everything. That said, here are the top 10 best Hollywood TV series of all time.

Best Hollywood TV Series of All Time

The Walking Dead (2010 – 2022)

IMDb Rating: 8.2/10

It’s hard to believe that The Walking Dead is coming to an end. The acclaimed TV series aired eleven years ago and has aged well since then. The idea of a zombies-led apocalypse has been revisited time and again but The Walking Dead has taken the concept to a whole new level. That might be one of the reasons it has managed to captivate the TV audience for so long.

The second part of the final season of the series will air on February 20, 2022. AMC, which has been exclusively broadcasting the series since day one, will serve as the host network in the U.S. Meanwhile, the international release of the series will take place on Disney+ the following day. Get ready folks, it’s going to be a wild ride!

The Office (2004 – 2013)

 IMDb Rating: 8.9/10

The Office is an Americanized version of the British sitcom of the same name. The original series was created by comedians Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant and ran from 2001 to 2003. The Hollywood version, on the other hand, ran from 2004 to 2013. The sitcom stars Steve Carell, Rainn Wilson, John Krasinski, and others.

The Office explores the everyday work lives of employees at the fictional Dunder Mifflin Paper Company. The series is notable for some weird yet hilarious pranks that Krasinski’s character Jim pulls on Wilson’s character Dwight Schrute. If you want to have a good laugh and some light-hearted action, then we highly recommended The Office.

The Big Bang Theory (2007-2019)

IMDb Rating 8.1/10

Science and comedy do not always mix, but when they do hilarity ensues. That’s what The Big Bang Theory brilliantly achieves with its tongue-in-cheek humor. The science stuff in the series is also pretty awesome, especially when coming from the mouth of brilliant but socially awkward physicist Sheldon (played by Jim Parsons).

Family Guy (1999 – Ongoing)

IMDb Rating: 8.1/10

There’s nothing family-friendly about Family Guy, which is ironic, to say the least. Nevertheless, the series is funny in a lot of ways and is widely considered one of the greatest animated series of all time. It follows the everyday life of a dysfunctional family who is thrown into weird scenarios. Principle voice actors include Seth MacFarlane and Alex Borstein.

Prison Break (2005 – 2017)

IMDb Rating: 8.3/10

Prison Break is widely considered to be one of the considered political thrillers of all time. The series aired in 2005 and vowed viewers with its exceptional plot and powerful performances by the cast members. The series follows the story of an innocent death row inmate wrongfully accused of a political conspiracy. If you haven’t watched the series, what were you even doing in 2005?

Seinfeld (1989 – 1998)

IMDb Rating: 8.8/10

Seinfeld was there before Friends. It is considered to be the greatest comedy sitcom of all time. Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David created the series in '89. It has been described as a show about nothing. Seinfeld continued to dominate the ratings until the very end of its run. If you want to binge the series, we recommend that you use Netflix.

The Sopranos (1999 – 2007)

IMDb Rating: 9.2/10

Mobsters, crime, drama, thriller – Hollywood has done plenty of movies and TV shows on the said genres. None, however, comes close to the awesomeness that is The Sopranos. The series is widely considered to be the greatest crime television series of all time.

Friends (1994 – 2004)

IMDb Rating: 8.8/10

We won’t be going into the details of the crazy ride that was Friends. However, we would like to point out that the series won a total of 77 wins out of the 220 nominations it received during its 10-year run.

Game of Thrones (2011 – 2019)

IMDb Rating: 9.2/10

Game of Thrones shook the television industry when it premiered in 2011. The last few seasons, however, could not live up to the mark. A pretty tragic ending for a series that had been nothing short of bloody brilliant.

Breaking Bad (2008 – 2013)

IMDb Rating: 9.4/10

We are ending our list with perhaps the greatest television series of not just Hollywood but of all time. Please don’t tell us that you haven’t watched it yet!
